Preggers

I'm jealous of pregnant women.
I'll admit it.
I know we're not meant to be jealous of anyone.
Jealousy is a bad trait, something we should strive to live without.
But, what can I say?
I envy pregnant women.

Those who know me well know I have baby fever.
Like, bad baby fever.
I'm just {uber} excited to be a mom.
And when I see a woman with a pregnant belly, I envy her.
I want to be in her shoes.

There are times when I wish I could fast-forward my life.
Just skip this annoying part right now.
Ya know, get to the part where Tom and I start our life together.
Okay, I guess you could say we [have] started our life together,
But you know what I'm talking about.

I want to get to that part where we don't have to say goodnight over the phone anymore.
I want to get to that part where he's the last thing I see before I go to sleep, and the first I see when I wake up.
I want to be his wife.
And I want to start our family together.

I was made to be a mom.
That's my biggest dream in life.
Call me old fashioned, but all I want to do is be a stay-at-home mom with my kids.
My many kids.
I want four.
I don't care how many boys or girls.
Well, at least one of each would be nice...

I'm gonna be a great mom.
I can feel it.
I will shower my kiddies in kisses and cuddles.
I will have campouts in the backyard with them.
I will read them bedtime stories every night.
I will surprise them on random days, and take them out of school early - they'll think they have a dentist appointment, or something like that, but really, I'll surprise them and they'll get a day out of school with mom. Take them out for lunch, or something fun.
Instead of keeping them cooped inside during a rain shower, I'll go outside with them and play out in the rain together.

I can't wait to be a mom.
I'm envious of the preggers out there with their cute little babies growing in their cute little bellies.
Soon enough, that will be me.
That will be my cute little baby growing in my cute little preggo belly.
